Corbett vs. Dempsey is pleased to announce a rare solo concert by Paal Nilssen-Love. One of the great improvisors of our day and an omnivorous drummer and multiple-percussionist who incorporates everything from delicate/disparate noise-making to 350-horsepower rhythmic engine, Nilssen-Love has occupied the furnace room in many groups, including Atomic, the Thing, and his own Large Unit. Come hear what magic the Norwegian musician can conjure without all the horns and strings around – a master drummer and his percussibles.
Note: This is the final musical event at CvsD’s original space above Dusty Groove. Come help us celebrate the transition as we look forward to our big move and look back at the good times at 1120 N. Ashland.
