Press Release

One of the original Chicago imagist painters, Philip Hanson continues explore vivid new ideas in his most recent work. For his highly anticipated second show at Corbett vs Dempsey, Hanson presents a new series of explosively colorful abstractions, investigating the vibrational energies of hue and intensity, as well as a new batch of text-based works based on the poetry of Emily Dickinson, William Carlos Williams and others.

The exhibition is accompanied by a 36 pp., full color catalog.
